Our classes provide hands-on experiences for all skill levels, from those who are touching clay for the first time to experienced professionals looking to try new techniques in their studio practice. Date Night in May

Friday, May 25 | 6-9PM

FEE: $35 PER student

LIMITED space | PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

Experience working with clay on the potter’s wheel! Couples, singles, and friends are welcome to enjoy the evening  creating and sharing the joys of making art. Our skilled instructors will guide you through centering and shaping clay forms on the potter’s wheel, and then you will be set free to make your own creations. The evening ends with beer, wine and light hors d'oeuvres as we briefly review the night’s work.

clay for a day: fundamentals 

Saturday, June 23 | 10AM-2pm

FEE: $45 PER student (CHILDREN AGED 7-12 YEARS OLD)

LIMITED space | PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

Children, ages 7-12, will learn the FUN-damentals of clay in these one day summer classes while exploring color, shape and texture to create sculptural and functional pieces. Students will explore rolling a coil, pressing slabs and decorating their ceramic creations using glazes. Participants will also enjoy a one hour lunch break near the Roofless Church, adjacent to the NH Clay Studio. Parents are asked to provide a brown bag sack lunch for their child. We will glaze and fire finished projects that will be available for pick-up after the class ends.
