Students can experience sculpting in clay from a live model in this one-day studio course. Class will consist of demonstrations of building techniques coupled with an introductory anatomical study. Explore figure proportion, human expression and body gesture. There will be class discussions on surface treatment for sculpture, including “cold finishing techniques” in order to finish your sculpture. 

All levels welcome. Class includes individual attention/instruction, 30 pounds of clay and bisque firing.

Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment of four is not met two days prior to scheduled class date. Additional class dates or full reimbursement will be offered for those who sign up for a cancelled class.
