DATE NIGHT

Singles, friends and couples are welcome to enjoy the evening creating and sharing the joys of making art!  Our skilled instructors will guide you through centering and shaping clay forms on the potter’s wheel, and then you will be set free to make your own creations. The evening ends with wine and light hors d'oeuvres as we briefly review the night’s work.

FIGURING OUT THE HUMAN FORM

Students can experience sculpting in clay from a live model in this one-day studio course. Class will consist of demonstrations of building techniques coupled with an introductory anatomical study. Explore figure proportion, human expression and body gesture. There will be class discussions on surface treatment for sculpture, including “cold finishing techniques” to complete your sculpture.
