Situated off of the Wabash River, New Harmony Clay Project is a non-profit artists residency and educational center located in historic New Harmony, Indiana. Our mission is to foster an environment that supports the investigation of new ideas and work in the ceramic arts.

From September to April each year, our Artists-in-Residence have the opportunity to create and experience the slower pace of the New Harmony community and the surroundings, "that pay tribute to a blend of the past and future."

Our Educational Programs welcome students and visitors to learn from professional artists and accomplished educators in the ceramic arts in the place that was home to two attempts at establishing Utopian communities.

The Summer Classes offered June-August are at the forefront of our programs and serve a vital role of our mission. We welcome you to explore this unique environment and expand your creative capacity with clay!
