The Ceramics residency

The New Harmony Clay Project residency program fosters an environment that supports the investigation of new ideas and work of ceramic artists. We are a rural residency program, and our goal is to encourage emerging and professional visual artists/educators in ceramics by giving them quiet space and the time to develop a new body of work. The program offers a unique and stimulating experience that will challenge individuals to integrate new discoveries into their expressions. 

2024-25 application

The program is offered from September-April of each year. Residents have the opportunity to select a flexible residency time frame that accommodates their schedules-from one up to eight month periods. Please make sure you meet all of the requirements for eligibility before you apply. It is encouraged that you follow the "About the Residency" button above to review all of our Residency Information including the provisions, resident responsibilities, costs, and studio set up, and make sure your proposal aligns with this information.
